Older ceramic fuse boards are worth replacing on their own merits too, since they react more slowly than modern circuit breakers and cannot be brought up to today’s standard without an upgrade.
Are safety switches required when I sell or rent in Queensland?
Yes, in some situations. You do not have to install a safety switch to sell, but you must state on the contract whether one is fitted, and if it is not, the buyer has three months after settlement to install it. Rental properties must have a safety switch on the power circuits under the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013.
